Workshop on the united nations sustainable development goals

Are you interested in sustainability? Have you heard about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that were defined to make our life on earth more sustainable? Would you like to learn more about how you can reduce your carbon-footprint in your research and in your everyday life? Then join us during an interactive workshop organized by the University of Cologne (Germany) in conjunction with the Materials Science and Engineering Congress (MSE) on September 22, 2020.

All you have to do is to send an email to mse@mse-congress.de with the subject “Apply for Sustainability Workshop”. Early application is advised since the participation of the workshop is on a first-come, first-served basis.

What you will learn:

  • An overview of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Understanding the correlation between materials, materials research, and sustainable practice in our daily life.
  • Interacting with students/scholars from University of Cologne to discuss research activities for creating a more sustainable future.

We are now call for participants! Attendance for the workshop will be limited to 40 participants.
